Maslinijada was formed as a manifestation which should represent the introspection of products which are made from the autochthonous specie of olive. Manifestation “Maslinijada” is also significant because the visitors and tourists can enjoy in observing and also in tasting of olives, Bar olive oil, agrum, mandarins, oranges, and other products typical for the coastal region, and especially for the area which encompasses municipality of Bar. With the culturally entertaining program, Maslinijada is contributed by an exhibition of traditional folk costumes which used to be worn in Bar and in its surrounding.
